Handmade Cloisonne Enamel on Silver Ring with Natural Lapis Lazuli Stone
Cloisonne is ancient art, that dates centuries back in history. Tiny silver wires were bent and twisted according the design. Then small sections were filled with colorful enamels and fired in special kiln at very high temperature several times until desired height of enamel is achieved. After all it has to be grinded and polished for the final smooth and shiny look. Cloisonne enamel is very time intensive process, but end result is always enjoyable.
Silver base was engraved prior enameling to give it extra depth and interest.
