At ANARA & CO, creativity is a family endeavor. In our state-of-the-art studio in Kansas City, we bring jewelry making, enameling, engraving, and watchmaking together under one roof. Each of us contributes a different skill, united by the joy of turning unique ideas into wearable art.
Meet Nara & Sham Agayev
I’m Nara Agayev. I create enamel jewelry, hand engrave, set stones, and fabricate jewelry in our studio. I also create the enamel dials for our Agayev & Sons watches, bringing color and artistry to the timepieces we make as a family.
My husband, Sham Agayev, is a certified master watchmaker. He restores, services, and manufactures watches, working with timepieces from antique to modern. His work brings together the precision of watchmaking and the care needed to give cherished timepieces new life.
Made together, under one roof
Our sons are part of the creative process, too. One helps with software, while another contributes to jewelry design, enameling, and laser engraving. He also works alongside his father to design replacement watch parts for antique timepieces when the original parts are no longer available.
With traditional hand skills and modern technology in the same studio, we can explore ideas together, solve intricate challenges, and create pieces with a personal connection to the people who make them.
From an enamel dial to a hand-engraved detail, our work reflects what we love: thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and art that can be worn and enjoyed.
